I am a storyteller...

and this is my Act II

ACT I  built a career as a post production producer from working for top post production companies in New York and Los Angeles, to opening my own editorial company, 3 fingered louie in NYC. As a small business owner and executive producer, I have been a champion of creatives, supporting and guiding the careers of commercial editors. My clients have been world-renowned Advertising Agencies and Production Companies in the advertising world. It's been a great career but I desired to be doing something more creative for myself. So I decided to take an improv class.

ACT II  always been a theatre and movie nerd. I stepped out of my comfort zone and into the world of improvisation. It scared me and exhilarated me and I kept on doing it until I didn't think I was going to die. I love the freedom of improv and the life lessons learned through being present and listening.

I am a graduate of The Second City Conservatory in Hollywood, many classes at the Groundlings,The Pit and Improvolution in New York. Studied acting with Mario Campanaro at MC2 Actors Studio and Amanda Bird at the Nest. My reel includes a few funny sketches we wrote and shot with my SC pals. I love the Theatre and continue to perform and seek live theatre opportunities.

I recently produced and performed in two shorts, "NRA Interview" and "Navigating Life" full length links on this site.  I recently performed as Hope in the Noisy Nest production of "Be a Good Little Widow" written by Bekha Brunstetter and directed by Amanda Bird.

I believe we can be or do anything our hearts desire. It doesn't matter where you grew up or who you know or how old you are or what you look like...well maybe, just a little. However, if you have the talent, passion and guts to go for it, something's gotta give, right?  For me, acting is my creative expression, it is something I feel compelled to share.

Much love,
L
